Is your EasySTONE up to date?

Every year, and continually throughout the year, new versions of EasySTONE and EasySTONE-NC are released. In each release you will find new features, improvements to existing features, and corrections for things that weren’t working quite right. The last major release was in December of 2014 when DDX realeased EasySTONE version 6.1 (a major overhaul from version 4.9 and lower). In 2022, DDX released EasySTONE version 6.9.

What version of EasySTONE are you working with?

In most cases, EasySTONE’s version is displayed when opening the software. It can be seen on the right side of the software’s opening image. However, it is only displayed here briefly. A more manageable option is to find the information in the HELP pull-down and select “About …” from the menu options.

Service & Maintenance Agreement

This is DDX’s solution to be sure that you are getting the latest and greatest of EasySTONE’s software features and upgrades. Additionally, you will have direct support by email and telephone to DDX’s team of technicians.

How it works

Start by signing up for a Service & Maintenance Agreement. This can be done through your machine manufacturer or software supplier. The agreement is good for 12 months and includes any software updates and support by email and telephone. Cost of service & maintenance

The cost varies and is dependent on your level of software and add-ons. Initially, this agreement may only be about 10% of the software cost at the time of original purchase. If a Service and Maintenance Agreement is maintained annually, the cost remains about 10% per year. To keep costs down and support for your business active, it is important to maintain this service yearly.

What happens if I haven’t maintained Service & Maintenance Annually? If a year has been skipped, the cost is now 1 year of Service & Maintenance +20%. Every year that Service & Maintenance is not active will require each year’s payment +20% for it to be reactivated. Essentially, after 5-7 years of not maintaining Service & Maintenance, reactivation is about the same price as buying the software new. However, if you have been without a Service & Maintenance Agreement for this long, DDX realizes you are a long time user of their software. You won’t pay full price of new software just to receive Service & Maintenance. SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT

The annual service and maintenance subscription is an investment that guarantees qualified training and work continuity.

In detail:

  • the software warranty is extended for the entire duration of the subscription.

  • you can use the telephone assistance service via email and remotely.

  • guaranteed access to the customer area of the DDX website where you can download the latest version of the software free of charge at any time.

  • Guaranteed access to video guides to learn how best to use the software.

  • you can use the software configuration backup service.

  • guaranteed access to all the live webinars organized during the year and to the webinar archive in the reserved area of the DDX website;

The service and maintenance subscription lasts 12 months, is renewable, and allows you to work with products that are always up to date and with the support of a team of specialized technicians.
